Current Work

I create story-led performances that share the stories of women from the North East’s past. Using storytelling alongside fashion and textiles, I make work that is personal, engaging, and often laced with humour, rooted in real lives, local histories, and women’s experiences.

Building on this practice, my current project, Durham Women, explores the lives and experiences of women in County Durham during the Second World War.

Using original items, garments, and personal accounts, I shine a light on women’s wartime work, everyday resilience, and often overlooked experiences, bringing these histories to life through performance.

Durham Women will soon be available to book for libraries, WI groups, theatres, and festivals.
